Chelsea (CHE) and Leicester City (LEI) face each other in a repeat of the FA Cup final. With Liverpool lurking, the Blues will be keen to get close to a UEFA Champions League spot. Leicester City, meanwhile, needs just four points from their remaining two matches. But the FA Cup winners are unlikely to play for a draw as they host European hopefuls Tottenham Hotspur in their final game of the season.
Team news
Andreas Christensen and Mateo Kovacic have recovered from their respective injuries and could make it to the 20-man squad. Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was powerless to prevent Youri Tielemans’ screamer in the FA Cup final, is expected to make way for Edouard Mendy in goal. Ben Chilwell and Kai Havertz, too, could find a place in the starting eleven after the duo came off the bench on Saturday.
Leicester City will be without Jonny Evans, who limped off during the first half of the FA Cup final, and Timothy Castagne is likely to shift to the heart of the defence in the absence of the 33-year-old. Attacking midfielder James Maddison, who has an impressive record against Chelsea, could start ahead of Ayoze Perez. Meanwhile, Jamie Vardy will be hoping to end his five-game goalless run.
