235/9 vs SRH, Indian T20 2021
The Mumbai Indians (MI) showed off their amazing batting skills in the second part of the Indian T20 2021 season. The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) bowlers just couldn't stop them!
Young player Ishan Kishan opened the batting for MI and scored a super-fast 84 runs in only 32 balls! He hit the ball really hard, sending 11 boundaries and 4 sixes flying over the field.
Suryakumar Yadav wasn't going to be left behind! He also batted brilliantly, scoring 82 runs in just 40 balls. He played really well, hitting 13 boundaries and 3 sixes.
Even though Jason Holder from SRH tried hard and took 4 wickets, MI still scored a massive total of 235 runs by the time their 20 overs were up, losing only 9 wickets.
That was a huge score to chase! SRH just couldn't make enough runs, only managing 193 runs with 8 wickets lost in their 20 overs. MI's bowlers were too good for them.
This game showed just how well MI can bat when they're on form. They were unstoppable!

The Mumbai Indians (MI) almost won an exciting game in the 2017 Indian T20 against Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings)! They needed a lot of runs to win (231) but their openers, Lendl Simmons and Parthiv Patel, started strong. Simmons scored very fast (59 runs in 32 balls) and Patel helped by scoring 38 runs.
Things got a little tough in the middle overs, but then Kieron Pollard came in and hit the ball really hard! He scored 50 runs without losing his wicket in just 24 balls. Hardik Pandya also helped by scoring 30 runs quickly (in 13 balls).
Even though they tried really hard, MI fell short by just 7 runs. The final score was 223 runs for MI with 6 wickets lost. This game showed how well MI can bat, even though they didn't win this time.
219/6 vs CSK, Indian T20 2021
In another heart-stopping Indian T20 encounter, the Mumbai Indians (MI) chased down a massive total against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2021! CSK had set a target of 219 runs batting first.
MI openers Quinton de Kock and Rohit Sharma provided a solid start. All-rounder Krunal Pandya also chipped in with a handy 32 runs. But the real hero of the chase was Kieron Pollard! Led by Sachin Tendulkar's blistering 32-ball 63 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, the entire batting lineup contributed to this impressive score. Delhi's chase crumbled under the pressure, collapsing for just 120 runs in the 17th over. This dominant performance secured a convincing 98-run victory for MI!
213/6 vs RCB, Indian T20 2018
The Mumbai Indians (MI) had a crazy start to their Indian T20 game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2018! They lost their first two batters right away, on the very first two balls! But MI didn't give up.
Evin Lewis and Rohit Sharma came in and saved the day. They worked together really well, scoring a total of 108 runs together. Lewis hit 65 runs really fast (in just 42 balls) and Rohit Sharma scored an amazing 94 runs in just 52 balls, including 10 boundaries and 5 huge sixes!
Thanks to their awesome batting, MI set a high score of 214 runs for RCB to chase. Even though Virat Kohli, a famous batsman, tried his best by scoring 94 runs without losing his wicket, RCB just couldn't make enough runs. They only scored 167 runs and MI won the exciting game!
