Bowlers delivered another clinical performance as India completed a clean sweep in the ODI series against the visiting West Indies. India, who made 265 after choosing to bat first, crushed the Caribbean outfit by 96 runs in the third ODI at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Shreyas Iyer made a strong case for himself at No 4 with a 111-ball 80, while Rishabh Pant registered his fifth ODI fifty. Jason Holder bagged a four-wicket haul.
West Indies lost early wickets in the run chase and were bundled out for 169 in the 38th over. The pace trio of Deepak Chahar, Mohammed Siraj, and Prasidh Krishna picked up eight wickets between them. Kuldeep Yadav, returning from a knee injury, took the wickets of Nicholas Pooran and Fabian Allen. It was Odean Smith who top-scored for West Indies with a quick-fire 36.
