The Nottingham-based outfit, who just took two points from their last three games, will reach the playoffs with a win tonight. Meanwhile, Manchester Originals have exited the tournament after a three-game winless run. They will be hoping to end their campaign on a high.

Despite suffering a second consecutive defeat, Trent Rockets are likely to field the same playing eleven from their match against Birmingham Phoenix. D’Arcy Short and Dawid Malan remain a concern for the franchise as both were dismissed cheaply on Friday. The duo combined scored only 38 runs in the last three matches.
Sam Cook is likely to retain his place, though they have plenty of pace options – Sonny Baker and Timm van der Gugten – available on the bench. Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan will be desperate to bounce back after picking up just one wicket in the last three games. Fellow spinners Matthew Carter and Samit Patel have grabbed wickets on a consistent basis in the tournament.
With nothing at stake, Manchester Originals could make a few changes to their playing eleven. All-rounder Dan Douthwaite is likely to make his Hundred debut. The 24-year-old claimed 15 wickets and scored more than 200 runs at a strike rate of 153 in Vitality Blast 2021. Batter Sam Hain, too, might feature in Manchester Originals’ squad.
Fred Klaassen could replace Steven Finn, who conceded 51 runs against Northern Superchargers. The visitors are likely to go with two spinners – Matt Parkinson and Tom Hartley – who are also the leading wicket-takers for the franchise in the tournament.
