Women's WC 2022: Match Schedule

By Parameswaran Sankaranarayanan March 3, 2022

The 12th edition of the biggest event in women’s cricket, the women’s ODI World Cup, will begin in New Zealand on Friday. The tournament, originally scheduled for early 2021 but postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic, will see the eight teams play each other once and the top four advancing to the semi-finals. New Zealand lock horns with West Indies in the tournament opener. Six-time winners Australia kick off their campaign against England, who won the title in the 2017 edition. Meanwhile, two-time runners-up India face arch-rivals Pakistan in their opening fixture.
