Most Hat-tricks in ODI Cricket

Wasim Akram (Pakistan)

Akram is the player with the most one-day international (ODI) hat tricks, with four. His first One-Day International (ODI) hat trick came against the West Indies in Sharjah on October 14, 1989. His second ODI hat trick came against Australia in Sharjah in the final of the Austral-Asia Cup on May 4, 1990. In this one, Akram bowled out Merv Hughes, Rackemann, and Alderman. His second one-day international (ODI) hat trick occurred against Kenya in Colombo on March 1, 2011. Also, his third one-day international (ODI) hat trick occurred against Australia in Colombo on August 22, 2011.

Saqlain Mushtaq (Pakistan)

Chaminda Vaas (Sri Lanka)

Chaminda Vaas is the only bowler in the annals of cricket history to have ever accomplished this feat, and he did it during the 2003 World Cup game. He took four wickets in the opening over of the game. The Sri Lankan bowler is one of the players who has taken the most hat tricks in one-day international cricket. K Yadav heeded his counsel and eventually became a member of the Indian Under-19 cricket squad that competed in the Cricket Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2014. Kuldeep Yadav shot to fame when he completed a hat-trick during the Under-19 Cricket World Cup match he participated in against Scotland. This performance propelled him into the spotlight. As a result of his skill and exceptional performance, he became the second Indian after Bhuvneshwar Kumar to take five-wicket hauls in all three forms of the game. He also became the third spinner after Imran Tahir and Ajantha Mendis to accomplish this feat.

Kuldeep Yadav made history by being the first bowler from India to take the most hat tricks in one-day international cricket. At Eden Gardens in 2017, during a match against Australia, Kuldeep scored his maiden hat trick. In 2019, the 27-year-old accomplished the milestone during the second one-day international match played against West Indies in Visakhapatnam.

Hugh Trumble (Australia)

When Trumble made them Tumble – The Australian off-spinner was the first player to take two Test hat tricks and had the Most Hat Tricks in Cricket during his time. He also held the record for the Most Hat Tricks in Cricket. In 1902 and 1904, Trumble scored three hat-tricks while playing for Australia against England. Jimmy Mathews (Australia)

This Australian bowler is the only player to have taken a hat-trick in an international cricket match in each inning. He took two hat-tricks in the exact Test match when playing against South Africa at Old Trafford. As crazy as it sounds, he took a hat trick in each inning of the triangular series played in 1912.

Wasim Akram (Pakistan)

In addition to his hat tricks in One-Day Internationals, the Pakistani great also owns two in Test matches. Akram is one of the top players in international cricket. He has the most hat tricks, as he has achieved a hat trick in consecutive Test matches during the same series. This occurred when he competed against Sri Lanka in the 1998–1999 Asian Test Championship. Akram's hat tricks in Test matches are one of a kind. Stuart Broad (England)

He is also making strides toward becoming a high-order hitter. In the match against the Netherlands in 2021, he claimed the record for most hat tricks in Twenty20 cricket.

During the third Twenty20 International match between Afghanistan and Ireland in February 2019, the Afghan bowler grabbed a hat-trick and four wickets. On November 7, 2021, against New Zealand, the former captain took his 400th wicket in Twenty20 cricket. He climbed the staggering feat of collecting the most doors and becoming the one-of-a-kind player with the Most Hat Tricks in T20 cricket. This achievement was a milestone for the former captain.
