Rules To Play Pool Rummy

Goals/Objectives

The only difference between this game and Points Rummy is that it is played over a series of rounds. Pool rummy is played with either 101 or 201 Rummy points. The player that accumulates the most points is eliminated. Pool rummy aims to earn as few points as possible in each round and escape elimination. The winner is declared to be the last player at the table.

This form of Pool Rummy is played across several rounds, so players can leave and rejoin the table. The rejoining player will get a score that is one higher than the top score at the moment of rejoining. The player may rejoin the table only if the highest collected score is less than or equal to 79 points in 101 Rummy and less than 174 points in 201 Rummy.

The first drop in 101 Pool Rummy is worth 20 points, while the second drop is for 40 points. In 201 Pool Rummy, the first drop is worth 25 points, while the middle drop is for 50 points.

According to the rules of Deals Rummy, this variant of Rummy is played with a predetermined amount of deals. Each player receives an equal score at the beginning of each deal. The player with the most scores after the scheduled deals is announced as the winner and earns the total prize money.
