After back-to-back playoff finishes, Delhi will be eyeing their maiden Indian T20 League title in the 15th edition. The 2020 runners-up, who retained Rishabh Pant, Anrich Nortje, Axar Patel, and Prithvi Shaw, bolstered their bowling attack and added a few outstanding T20 players in the mega auction. Shardul Thakur, Aussie pair David Warner and Mitchell Marsh, Khaleel Ahmed, Chetan Sakariya, Rovman Powell, Lungi Ngidi, etc., joined the franchise.
Delhi will meet Mumbai in their tournament opener on March 27 at Brabourne Stadium. They play Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Punjab, and Rajasthan twice. Meanwhile, Wankhede Stadium and DY Patil Stadium will host their fixtures against Bangalore and Chennai, respectively.
